April 2016

April started out with General Conference.  Missionaries gathered throughout the mission to watch these two wonderful days of talks from our leaders.  This was the English room in our building with many missionaries from the München Zone, plus 3 wonderful, recent converts.
Sister Strihavka was a great addition to our mission as she waited for her visa to go to the Temple Square mission.  Her visa came and it was time to say goodbye...
But she met our daughter Tosha at the Provo MTC--the missionary world is so small!
This was a zone training for our München Zone
Our Zone Leaders and Sister Training Leaders did a good job!
Then it was time for April Mission Leadership Council.
 Happy Lunching Missionaries :)
Our April MLC Group.
Elder Ringger finished his mission and we said farewell!
Our April transfer brought us 4 Golden Sisters!
Off they went to do their first bahn contacting.
We enjoyed dinner together that night at the Mission Home.  They learned who their trainers would be and where they would serve.
Then the next morning they were ready to go!
That afternoon each of the departing group received an interview with President Kohler and got ready to go home.  We enjoyed a relaxing dinner together...
and a wonderful testimony meeting.
That weekend we visited our Brixen, Italy Group.
It was wonderful to see our 4 Elders who are serving there.
Our 2 Klagenfurt Couples were also there helping with a stake choir!
Then President Kohler & I went to Frankfurt for training with the other Mission Presidents and Wives from the Europe Area.  Here he is with the President from Frankfurt.
And I got to see some of the other President's Wives who have become friends.
A special treat was visiting with President & Sister Ivory who are our son Tanner's
Mission President and Wife!
This is the group that we came out with almost 2 years ago.
They are wonderful couples serving all throughout the area.
When we got back we were very happy to welcome Elder & Sister Barnes into the mission--they will be serving in Passau, Germany!
We said a temporary goodbye to Sister Wonson--but she will be back!
And to finish the month I got to teach a super investigator with the Sisters serving in our ward.
