May 2016

In May, President Kohler continued doing interviews throughout the mission.  Sometimes he even managed to get pictures of the groups :)
This is the first day interviewing & training the Munich Zone.
A second day with the Munich Zone.
Then it was time to say goodbye to Elder Moffett.
The Tews came back to visit the mission and it was fun to see them...
as well as Elder Acuna Moreno.
This was our May Mission Leadership Council group.
President gave our mission leaders a scripture mastery test...
I had never seen the group so quiet!
Later, they worked in groups to discuss how to help their zones.
More interviews, this time in the St. Gallen Zone.
Mother's Day was exciting for all of our missionaries as they got to Skype home.  We also got a wonderful Mother's Day Skype--it was great to be "together" as a family again--Elder Kohler in Moldova, Tosha in Provo and the three of us in Munich :)
We enjoyed a visit that evening from Sister Bushman and her Mom.
And we were sad to send Elder Vasicek on his way!
Then there were more interviews--in Bern.
While President Kohler was interviewing, I got to help the sisters teach.
Sister Schumann headed home...
and so did Elder Faux.  We will miss them both.
There was a special meeting for Bishoprics and Stake Presidencies in Switzerland--we got to be taught by President Uchtdorf.
Then more interviews; this time in Stuttgart Zone.
It was great on one of our Sundays to visit the Ellwangen Branch.
Our Elders there are doing a great job!
President Kohler sure appreciated his Assistants.
We had a nice visit from Elder Plumb and his family.

And a great time visiting with the Haslers to say goodbye.
 Munich Stake Conference...
 more of Munich Zone...
and even more.
 Farewell Elder Strelow!
Then it was transfer time--and we welcomed a new group of Goldens:  4 Sisters & 3 Elders.
We enjoyed dinner together that evening and then they found out where they would be serving!  The next day they would head to their first areas.
